Robust Control Strategy for Inductive Parametric Uncertainties of DC/DC Converters in Islanded DC Microgrid

Direct current (DC) microgrid consists of many parallel power converters that share load currents through the inductance DC/DC converters. Usually, parameters are dependent on physical implementation system, and their values may not match nameplates. Such disparities could lead to unequal response characteristics which can potentially reduce performances DC operation. This paper proposes a robust control strategy for inductive parametric uncertainties using an optimal method with integral action. To achieve such goal, system model nominal transformed into unmatched form problem, is then linear quadratic regulator problem. The stabilized uncertainty dynamic algebraic Riccati equation (UDARE) state feedback gain under regulator. closed-loop action adopted steady-state error zero DC-link voltage at any parameter, subsequently ensures equal sharing. Off-line simulations real-time validations based OpalRT have been conducted demonstrate effectiveness robustness proposed strategy.
